Proposals for depot get scrapped

Local residents will be spared the significant increase in lorries along our roads that would have been generated if building the Heathrow Express Depot in Langley had gone ahead. Plans were scrapped earlier this year after it was decided that the depot was no longer required.

Since our association's inception, IHRA has campaigned against this initiative so we were delighted to hear this news.

Unfortunately, at this time, the decision does not seem to affect the possible permanent closure of Hollow Hill Lane - a busy route which connects Iver with Langley - if the proposed Western Rail link to Heathrow goes ahead. Even more traffic will then be forced through Langley and Richings Park.
