Supporting 'save Iver Heath Fields'

Iver Heath fields have been identified in the Chiltern and South Bucks Local Plan as one of the areas potentially to be removed from the green belt and suitable for development. As these fields are used and loved by many local residents, the IHRA has a representative from the committee on the “Save Iver Heath Fields” action group. Anyone interested in more information or joining the action group can contact us for more information.

Architects' firm Chris Blandford Associates has been commissioned to undertake a townscape character study of the fifteen preferred options to be removed from the green belt. IHRA committee chair Alan Wilson attended a stakeholders workshop at Capswood on 6 February and pointed out that the area is inappropriate for redevelopment for all the reasons included in our original objection document, which was also issued as a news bulletin to members.
