After several years of uncertainty regarding if or when major works to the Five Points Roundabout were going to go ahead, the plans for re-modelling the roundabout are back on the table. At a meeting of the Pinewood Community Liaison Group on 25th January 2023, studios' management said they were working with Buckinghamshire Council with an objective to start the works in Summer or Autumn 2023. It was anticipated that the project will take some six to nine months to complete.
As the 'start' deadlines for the original Five Points planning application had lapsed, a new application was submitted with a determination deadline of February 2023. If planning permission is granted, detailed designs for the new layout will be put together.
